From the dashboard they see: current leave balance by type, latest payslip, pending expense claim status, current OKR scores, upcoming holidays, and the latest company notice board posts. Everything is live - leave balance reflects approvals from this morning, not yesterday's snapshot.
Leave application - submitted, approved, and balance updated in minutes
Employee selects leave type, start and end dates, and adds a reason. The system checks the balance (and flags if insufficient), checks for team conflicts, and routes the request to the manager via in-app notification and email. Manager approves with one click. Employee receives confirmation. Leave balance updates immediately. Payroll is updated for the deduction automatically.
Expense claims - submit with receipt, track approval status
Employees submit expense claims directly from the portal - select category, enter amount, upload receipt photo (taken on mobile), add description, optionally tag to a project. Submission takes under 2 minutes. Claim status (pending, approved, in payroll, paid) is visible in real time. No more "did you get my expense form?" messages.
Payslips, IT declarations, and documents - always accessible
Every payslip from joining date is available for download as a PDF. Employees view their salary breakdown, statutory deductions, and year-to-date figures without asking HR. IT declarations (old vs new regime choice, investment proofs under 80C) are submitted directly through the portal - HR never needs to collect paper forms. All employment documents - offer letter, contract, certificates - are stored and downloadable.
