Accessing Asset Inventory

Step 1: Go to Assets → Inventory

Interface Breakdown

  • Table View: Columns for asset name, ID, category, status, location
  • Action Buttons: Add, edit, delete, export

Adding a New Asset

  • Click Add Asset
  • Fill in:
    • Asset Name
    • Category (e.g., Laptop, Chair)
    • Serial Number
    • Purchase Date
    • Assigned Department
    • Location
    • Status (Available, Assigned, Maintenance)
  • Click Save

Editing or Deleting Assets

  • Click asset row → Edit or Delete
  • Confirm changes

Search & Filter

  • Search by name, ID, category, or location
  • Filter by status or department

Exporting Inventory

  • Click Export
  • Choose format: Excel or CSV
  • Select columns to include

Mobile Usage

  • Scrollable table view
  • Add/edit via mobile-friendly forms

Important Notes
