Sync CRMLeaf to Tallythrough a local agent
The Tally integration is aimed primarily at organisations in India that keep their books in Tally. It's a GST-aware accounting sync to the Tally desktop application through a local agent - CRMLeaf stays your system of record for delivery and payroll, Tally stays your book of accounts.
Built in
- Requires the TallyIntegration add-on module, plus Payroll for payroll sync specifically
- Only reviewed/finalised payroll syncs - not draft periods
- GST-aware accounting sync, built for Indian book-keeping norms
- Payments are still recorded in CRMLeaf as usual, then synchronised
How the sync works
- 01
Run payroll
Payroll is processed in CRMLeaf first, as usual.
- 02
Review
Review the processed payroll period before it goes anywhere.
- 03
Update status
Mark the period finalised once it's reviewed and correct.
- 04
Sync to Tally
The local agent transfers the finalised records into your Tally company data.
- 05
Reconcile in Tally
Reconcile as usual inside Tally - corrections after a sync must also be corrected in Tally.
A local agent bridges CRMLeaf and Tally
Local agent
Tally is desktop software, not a cloud service, so a local agent installed on a machine that can reach your Tally installation does the bridging.
See how it worksPayroll module
Payroll data can be synchronised to Tally where the Payroll add-on module is in use.
See how it worksAlways-on requirement
If the agent's computer is off, or Tally is closed, synchronisation can't happen at that moment.
See how it worksWhat the Tally integration covers
This is a separate integration and module from QuickBooks Online - you record payments in CRMLeaf as usual, then they're synchronised to Tally. The two accounting integrations don't share a unified sync layer.
