How does the approval workflow work?

You can define one or more internal approvers for BOQs. When a BOQ is submitted for approval, the assigned reviewer receives a notification, can add comments, request changes or approve. The proposal can only be sent to the client after all approvals are complete.

Does the BOQ automatically link to inventory and procurement?

Yes. Once a deal is won and a project is created, the approved BOQ becomes the material requirement for that project. Your team can raise material requisitions directly from the BOQ, and SolarCrm checks current stock availability before triggering vendor purchase orders.

Can I send proposals in multiple currencies?

Yes. SolarCrm supports multi-currency proposals. You can set the currency per deal - USD, AED, AUD, EUR, GBP, INR and others - so proposals always reflect the client’s local currency without manual conversion.

What happens to the BOQ data when a project starts?

The approved BOQ becomes the project’s baseline material plan. Project managers can view the BOQ alongside actual material consumption, identify variances, and track whether the project is running within the quoted scope and cost.
